Thermal Systems Controls Engineer

Description:
A Thermal Systems Controls Engineer job is currently available through Belcan. As a Thermal Systems Controls Engineer you will define, design and program Boiler Combustion Control Systems, Burner Management Systems, Chiller Controls, Balance of Plant and SCADA systems. To be considered for this position, you will need a Bachelors in Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 3-5 years' experience with Thermal Systems Controls and knowledge of NFPA85.

Responsibilities:
* Strong process knowledge and experience with boilers and chillers.
* Ability to develop control narratives, functional specifications and electrical print packages.
* Ability to read and develop SAMAs and tune control loops
* Knowledge of NFPA85 and how it impacts control applications
* Be able to troubleshoot systems that are not functioning properly
Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree from an accredited university
* 3+ years' experience in the control system industry
* Experience with any of the following manufactures: Emerson DeltaV, GE, Modicon PLCs, Rockwell Automation, Wonderware, Siemens
