Interior Test Director

Description:
Currently looking for an experienced aerospace engineering/certification manager to fill a role with a company in Seattle, WA. Interested candidates should have significant flight test experience as well as engineering/project management experience.

Responsibilities of the Interior Test Director
Provide engineering / certification service for static load test for Interiors, include : review test plan, coordination with partner to revise the test plan, recommended approval of test plan for JCAB, Test witness, trouble shooting if the case of test failure, review test report, recommended approval of test report, direct coordination with JCAB to obtain test plan/test report approval.
Provide Engineering Certification Support as requested for all related document for stress analysis and/or strength substantiation.
Act as Liaison to resolve all engineering / certification issues between all involved partners.
Fulfill the role of hours when requested to support the program, after being appointed by the Group Leader or Head of Seattle Engineering Office, while complying with internal standards and regulations.
To engage in such other projects and activities that the Company may request from time to time related to QT/TC.


Requirements
5 Years of flight test experience preferable in the Interiors Discipline.
Engineering management experience, and possible liaison experience.
Working location will cary from office or on-site as required, including partner's facilities.
Must be flexible to travel to domestic and some international locations, including Japan.
Have a positive attitude, be proactive, and communicative. Be willing to learn, appreciate, and blend into Japanese business culture.
Willingness to work long hours when requested to support the program.
