Project Manager III Technical ( Plymouth, MN ) 7851097
5 month plus contract

Pay rate: $50 - 75 /hr depending on experience


**Will develop special test equipment. Need asst. tracking projects and scheduling tasks (juggling ~15 programs.) Will use a system to help manage workloads/deadlines.
Will Set up the Master Project Plan. Bachelors is important (Electrical Eng.) Labview exp key, PMP Cert REQUIRED.
Military exp is helpful. Should have exp in a relevant industry.
Will need to meet basic quals. listed below. In interview, will ask about exp w/ tools listed below.
Will ask if have designed electrical circuit boars, use of tools, and level of knowledge.
Will ask about Labview - installation, programming, and architecture. If have military exp, will ask about results achieved.

Program team consists of ~9 test eng. supporting ~12 programs at a time. Will report to Dir. of Eng and get direction from a Prog. Mgr.**

Creates, maintains, and tracks projects for special electronic and guidance subsystem test equipment. Ensures project content is delivered on-time and within budget. Assembles a resource-loaded master schedule for all projects in the special test equipment team and identifies recommended actions for resources and schedule. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of projects.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
PMP certification
2 years experience as a project manager or program manager
U.S. citizen

Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
5 years experience as a project manager or program manager
Experience as non-commissioned officer in the military
Experience in LabView programming
Experience managing projects in the aerospace or defense industries
Ability to travel 10-25% of the time within the US for launch events
