Senior NC Programmer

Description:
Role: Senior NC Programmer
Location: McAlester, OK 74501
Duration: 07+ Months Contract

Role Description :
• Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical expertise to cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
• Plans, creates, verifies, and revises machine control data and documentation that directs the operations for numerically controlled machines and robots required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies.
• Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, and software.
• Apply knowledge of engineering data, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and machine control languages in order to plan, create and revise machine-control data and associated inspection plans.
• Create and revise measuring machine programs and/or computer generated solid models, statistical process-control graphic aids, in-process inspection graphic aids, and key characteristics media.
• Ability to create and/or validate machine-control data, inspection point coordinate data and documentation.

Education / Experience
• Bachelor's and 6 to 9 years' related work experience, a Master's degree
• 4 to 7 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be available to work any shift
• OT is as needed
• No Travel associated with this position
• Phone interviews will be conducted

SKILLS NEEDED:
• SmartCam is needed
• Strong 3/4 axis experience
• Catia V5 is helpful but not needed
• SAP is helpful but not needed
