Description:
Role: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Wilsonville, OR 97070-9215
Duration: 07+ months Contract (May convert to full time)

Note: No new graduates, client wants candidates with 6-10 years of experience! U.S. Citizens OR Permanent residents and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply


Responsibilities:
• Client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong analysis and problem solving skills to support engineering effort on HGS product.

Successful candidate will be expected to perform or support the following tasks:
• Analyze drawings and conduct tolerance analysis
• Create and present clear and concise analysis documents in peer review
• Create redline drawings from change requests and provide guidance to drafting team members
• Perform autonomously in a processed oriented environment under the direction of a project lead
• Perform under tight schedule constraints

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in a 3D CAD solid modeling software package (SolidWorks and/or UG NX)
• Proficient with ANSYS FEA software package
• Highly proficient in tolerance analysis and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing principles
• Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills
