Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer III - MO

Description:
SEVERAL OPENINGS IN THE ST. LOUIS, MO AREA

Active Secret Clearance, NOT REQUIRED to start.

Perform independently Air Vehicle Systems engineering tasks to sustain the fielded tactical weapons systems.
Design and apply engineering principles to mechanical systems and/or propulsion engineering.
Conduct retrofit/redesigns, system integration, and system troubleshooting for multiple hardware / software subsystems.
Perform product investigations on the fielded subsystems, completing failure/trend analysis on system hardware / software, and supporting qualification / fielding of product redesigns.
Interface directly with supplier and customer to communicate results of analysis and support issue resolution.
Work under general guidance of senior engineering and management to develop recommendations on improvements to the fielded systems / subsystems.
Work cross-functionally on a wide variety of technical issues.

Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
