Software OR Systems Engineer

Description:
The initial training period for 6 months in Cedar Rapids, then work effort will be brought back to Enea Phoenix Engineering Office if this is more convenient for you. May also choose to stay onsite in Iowa.

FMS engineers (Systems and/or Software Engineers)
Job Requirements:

Significant Avionics FMS or Flight Controls software experience is required

Software experience that can also write Low and Higher Level Requirements and associated tests. Debugging software on target hardware to obtain root cause is also a plus
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related scientific discipline

Working knowledge of high-order programming languages (C, Ada, C++, Matlab/Simulink, etc.)

Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities

Strong communication and presentation skills

Strong object-oriented language (C++, C#, Python, etc.) and software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)

Strong background with GUI a plus!

Embedded software experience is required

Knowledge of DO-178 Development Standards
