Embedded Software Engineer - Level 2

Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Pay Rate: DOE ($65/hr - $80.73/hr)
Duration: 1 year W2 contract
Shift: First, 9/80, no/exempt OT
Travel: Yes, travel to various customer locations
**MUST be a U.S. CITIZEN**
**MUST have an ACTIVE DoD SECRET CLEARANCE**

Description
-This Company's Tactical Missiles Advanced Programs area is seeking Software Engineering candidates to perform development associated with the following program product lines: Tactical Missile System (TACMS), Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), and Guided Multiple Launcher Rocket System (GMLRS).
-Software engineering effort will be to implement Operational Flight Software (OFS), Operational Test Software (OTS), and Launcher Simulation/Emulator Software updates.
-Skills required are real time programming, including experience with the vxWorks real time operating system, inertial and GPS navigation applications, and Ethernet communication protocol.
-Preferred skills and experience include use of the GNAT Ada compilation system, C/C++, Wind River Workbench development environment, Power PC experience, including use of an In-Circuit Emulator, and the Razor configuration management data base system.

Skill/Experience/Education (Mandatory):
-Real Time programming, including experience with the vxWorks real time operating system, inertial and GPS navigation applications, and Ethernet communication and datalink protocol.
-US DOD Secret Clearance Required
-BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Related Field
-C/C++ (4-5+ years' experience required)
-ADA (4-5+ years' experience required)
-Real Time Software Development (4-5+ years' experience required)
-Wind River Workbench (4-5+ years' experience required)
-vxWorks, (4-5+ years' experience required)
-Inertial & GPS navigation units (4-5+ years' experience required)
-Power PC Development, (4-5+ years' experience required)

Desired:
-Software configuration management tool experience
-Razor(0-3+ years' experience desired)
