Description:
Electrical Engineer - Level 3

Duration: 1 year contract
Pay Rate: DOE ($50/hr - $55/hr)
Location: Grand Prairie, TX
Shift: First, 9/80
*The engineer must have an active SECRET security clearance and it is preferred that the employee's investigation is in scope (investigation performed within the past 5 years)*

Job Description:
-Analog engineer is required to design a power voltage card to convert voltages between mature subsystems.
-The power voltage card will need to fit within an existing space.
-This effort will require part selection, design review, and design release.
-The engineer must have an active SECRET security clearance and it is preferred that the employee's investigation is in scope (investigation performed within the past 5 years).
-The engineer must be proficient in Cadence; have good communication skills.

Mandatory Skills:
-Must have an active SECRET security clearance and it is preferred that the employee's investigation is in scope (investigation performed within the past 5 years).
-Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with five or more years of experience.
-Must be willing to accept a wide variety of work assignments supporting the total end-to-end process of capturing, designing, developing, testing, manufacturing, and life-cycle support of electronic systems.
-Must possess strong general electrical engineering knowledge and be familiar with circuit design and components to include electronics testing and troubleshooting.
-Experience in electronic system and subsystem design and test, systems analysis, software-driven operations and test schemes.
-Strong electronic systems integration tasking, estimating, testing and excellent trouble shooting skills.
-Proficiency with electronic analyzers and other trouble shooting tools is required.
-Ability to develop system and subsystem performance requirements.
-Ability to use test equipment to support acceptance testing, manufacturing production and in-process testing, data processing and analysis.

REQUIRED Skill Matrix:
-Power regulation circuit design experience. Schematic entry. PSPICE analysis. Derating analysis. etc. : (9-10 years)
