Health, Safety & Environment Engineer We have an immediate need for a Health, Safety & Environment Engineer for one of our customers, a specialty chemical company and an industry-leading supplier.

We are interested in hearing from candidates with experience providing technical/professional support regarding applicable HSE&S regulations and providing support for environmental compliance programs to assure regulatory compliance is maintained. The programs include, but are not limited to, permitting, emission testing, Title V, MACT, Emission Inventories, TRI, NPDES, hazardous waste management, and includes all associated recordkeeping, reporting and follow-up
The ideal candidate is expected to develop and implement an industrial hygiene program for the site including job exposure assessments, employee monitoring and associated recordkeeping, reporting and follow-up- Assist in administering/coordinating the Occupational Medical Surveillance Program for the site, including scheduling/tracking exams and input of results into the OHM Computer System.- Assist in administering the workers compensation program for the site, maintaining files and interacting with the Third Party Administrator and medical service providers.- Develop and implement an internal HSE audit process for the site, including associated recordkeeping and tracking of finds to completion. This position is expected to personally perform HSE inspections; document audits and interact with employees on the production floor on a regular basis. • Develop and implement programs, plans and procedures, as requested, for meeting/exceeding Safety Performance goals and implementation of the Company Safety Elements and Responsible Care Metrics. • Assist in safety-incident investigations to determine root-cause and corrective actions. • Coordinate/implement/administer appropriate Process Safety Management Programs as necessary. • Execute plant security protocols and conduct periodic security audits. REQUIREMENTS:BS/BA Environmental or Related Health safety or science degree with a minimum of 3 years industrial related experience

Determines quality and reliability requirements of components, subassemblies and systems to achieve company, customer and any governmental agency reliability objectives.
Develops new acceleration techniques and analytical tools to assure the early identification of potential problems with new products, packaging, processes, and product reliability.
Ensures compliance with internal and external specifications and standards such as ISO regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of design assurance, product quality or engineering experience with an emphasis on improving quality within a high-tech product development organization. Experience with manufacturing quality and design for manufacture. Excellent communication, team building and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities or responsibilities.

Desired Qualifications:
Demonstrated successful leadership experience on improving product quality. Demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders through a cross- functional team project. Quality Engineering experience within an electronics environment is highly desired. Reliability Engineering experience within an electronics environment is highly desired. This position also includes developing project schedules, defining product features, FMEA reviewing and brainstorming design solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:Prior experience or knowledge in vacuum cleaner technology is highly preferred. Experience in consumer reliability testing on products with motors, airflow and plastic parts is plus. Knowledgeable with industry standars (U.L.) is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office application; working knowledge of ProEngineer is highly desirable. • Managing and coordinating product development, design, and new product evaluation and testing functions for the Commercial Vehicle and FSW business segments.
• Working directly with customers in designing, developing, and implementing AWP products into customers’ applications.
• Seeking new applications to enhance our position as a world-wide technical leader in the wheel business.
REQUIREMENTS:This position requires an undergraduate degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with significant and relevant previous work experience in automotive products. Well developed human relations skills, excellent presentation and communication skills and the ability to establish close relationships with major customer technical personnel are essential requirements of this position. Computer communication skills are required such as CAD software (Catia, AutoCAD, Solid-Works, etc., as required by the customer), e-mail (including etiquette and protocol), PC software (Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, etc.) for the Design Engineer to be successful.

REQUIREMENTS:

Sr. Staff Engineer/MTS, 3GPP LTE Standards Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, master degree, or PHD is preferred.
  • 10 plus years of experience in cellular systems design and/or cellular standards development.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the 3GPP LTE and UMTS radio access network standards, including significant achievements and demonstrable experience in Layer 1 protocols.
  • Ability to develop simulation models, either system level and/or link level simulations.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Bonus Experience Includes:


  • Experience in the participation to wireless standards bodies (e.g. 3GPP, 3GPP2, IEEE) and development of specifications.
  • Notable achievements related to innovations of advanced cellular systems, especially in the layer 1 protocol area.
  • Experience in 3GPP cross-layer systems architecture design
    Ability to identify systems impacts beyond Layer 1.

This is a full-time, Temp to (possible) Direct Hire, long-term opportunity. Hours for the position are 7:30am-4:00pm, M-F. Position Purpose/Summary:

This position is accountable for performing specific Engineering work which may be related to the following:

The Electrical Engineer works on problems where analysis of situations and/or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.

Essential Functions:

The Electrical Engineer:


  • Exercises judgment within generally-defined Practices and Policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
  • Works with Engineers, Designers and Technicians to effectively develop recommendations in order to resolve problems.
  • Maintains an up-to-date and thorough knowledge of applicable local, state and federal Codes and Regulations.
  • Conducts Feasibility Studies.
  • Determines cost estimates, Design concepts and Engineering criteria.
  • Performs analyses to develop Design options and/or recommendations for structures, systems and components, in order to meet internal and external customer requirements.
  • Interacts with other functions and locations to determine optimum Product/Process solutions.
  • Performs Electrical Design.
