PAY RATE: $130-140K/YEAR
PLUS 15% TARGETED BONUS AND LONG-TERM INCENTIVE
Volt Workforce Solutions has a Direct Hire opportunity available in Paoli, PA for a Senior Manager to work with ERP Applications.
Position Description:
This highly visible role is charged with managing meaningful work that is viewed by the Senior Management team as mission critical. The position is responsible for global application implementation and support efforts tied to the common ERP system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager will be responsible for implementing and supporting Manufacturing applications and processes, in a diverse global environment, that are strategically aligned to the business needs of the Company. Additionally, he/she will execute the ERP Migration Plan and build the capability to provide appropriate levels of support for the common systems. The Senior Manager will also serve as Project Manager for at least one significant project during the course of the year.
Specific Position Responsibilities:
- Consult with Corporate and Business Unit Management and review IT Project proposals to determine goals, timeline, budget, procedures, staffing requirements and allotment of resources.
- Manage implementation projects.
- Define and design Business Processes.
- Configure Application Software to support processes.
- Map existing data to new systems.
- Develop Test plans and scripts.
- Train Business Process Owners and Users.
- Certify the system (i.e. Process, Software, Data and Users).
- Document new processes (i.e. Test Documentation).
- Improve and streamline the methodology to reduce the time and cost with no loss of capability at the Project site(s).
- Support installed systems, including:
- Change Control Management
- Problem Identification and Resolution
- Upgrades
- Manage 8-10 direct reports (i.e. delegate assignments, conduct performance reviews, coach for results).
- Manage Third Party Providers (i.e. define work, monitor performance, evaluate results).
- Manage Matrix-oriented cross-functional Project teams.
- Contribute to the management of an approximately $1.5M budget (Cost Control).
- Tend to additional miscellaneous projects:
- Due Diligence (i.e. Analysis of IT environment)
- IT Audits
- Sarbanes-Oxley
- IT Architecture policies via internal IT Council

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field; Master’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of and experience in Oracle System ERP applications
- Minimum of 10 years in a Management or leadership role
- Proven success in managing Business Systems implementation in a Global Manufacturing environment, that includes Process Improvement for the functional areas of:
- Supply Chain
- Finance
- Manufacturing
- Materials
- Cost
- Engineering
- Planning
- Sales and Marketing
- Service
- Experience in developing and managing budgets of up to $1.5M (Cost Control)
Bonus Skills, Experience and Knowledge (Nice to Have):
- Knowledge of OEM software such as BMC Control-M and Control-D
- Knowledge of IMS, Data Mirroring and Disaster Recovery
- Current knowledge of tuning DB2 DDF workloads
