This highly visible role is charged with managing meaningful work that is viewed by the Senior Management team as mission critical. The position is responsible for global application implementation and support efforts tied to the common ERP system.

Technical Project Manager

Volt Workforce Solutions has a contract opportunity available for a Technical PM to work for Our Client in Blue Bell, PA.

Position Summary:

Our Client is currently seeking a Seasoned Project Manager who has a very strong background leading large complex projects. This is for someone who has experience working in a Lead PM role and who has been responsible for overseeing all aspects of a project. This is also for someone very "hands-on" and who can jump in and roll up his/her sleeves when necessary. There will be strong interaction between Developers, Programmers, Analysts and Business partners. The PM will oversee all aspects of a large integration/data migration project.

This is a Contract position, through Volt Workforce Solutions - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Philadelphia, PA. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies on the East Coast.

Technical PM Required Qualifications:

• 15 years successfully managing and delivering multi-organizational, complex, technology projects while operating in a matrix environment.
  
• Strong experience in an IBM mainframe processing environment including: coding in COBOL and ALC programming languages.
  
• Strong knowledge of JCL code and batch jobs.
  
• IBM Mainframe Systems: CICS, DB2, SQL, VSAM.
  
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  
• PMP Certified.
  
• Proven record of Leading multiple projects simultaneously.
