Candidate will work directly with the Accounting Manager and Assistant Controller to ensure the monthly closes are done accurately and timely including preparing reports for client Corporate. This position will perform a wide range of duties in direct support of the close cycle, management reporting, assisting in maintenance of the accounting system, principles, practices and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Prepare bank reconciliations and research discrepancies and final resolution recommendations
* Assist in treasury functions to include banking administration, AR/CR management, preparation of cash forecasts and variance reporting
* Update/Maintain Fixed Assets database/schedule
* Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts to the general ledger; research discrepancies and determine appropriate courses of action for review and approval by manager

Job Purpose


The EVMS Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with EVM requirements for a large DOD program.     Job Description / Responsibilities:

    The Mechanical HVAC Engineer will produce moderately-complex technical designs and some analysis mechanical to new and existing facility related systems in support of ULA Atlas V, Delta IV and future Vulcan Launch Operations at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Florida. The successful candidate, as part of ULA’s Engineering and Infrastructure Team, shall be required to produce accurate and detailed design drawings as well as generate validating system analysis calculations. He/she will gather information, perform field walk-downs, and create or revise electronic CAD files. Projects typically involve implementations being performed by external Contractors, in accordance with construction documents.

    The successful candidate should have at least 15 years of relevant experience in designing, building, modifying, testing and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Experience with chilled water and DX systems, ventilation and air distribution required. Engineer shall perform engineering thermodynamic, heat transfer and fluid/gas dynamic calculations. Apply knowledge of regulatory and certifying agency requirements to ensure product and/or service is in compliance. Apply knowledge of functional testing requirements to ensure product and/or service meets or exceeds customer expectations. Project support will also include generation of Statement of Work, Contractor contract documents for schedule integration, fabrication and installation phases. The successful candidate will be required to coordinate multiple construction activities and project schedules around launch activities. The successful candidate should be self-motivated and able to work productively without constant direct supervision. He/she will be given latitude to establish priorities, determine technical objectives and define the most efficient approaches to completing assignments. Some outside work climbing stairs and accessing ladders will be required. He/she may need to work at heights on launch structures and facility catwalks. The successful candidate shall be willing to support second/third shifts and weekends as required.

    Skills:
    This position requires expert knowledge of mechanical design, analysis and drafting practices and a sound practical knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and industry standards. At least 10 years of recent Autodesk AutoCAD experience. Other 3D modeling and design experience in Autodesk Revit or other Building Information Modeling (BIM) software is highly preferred.

    Educational and Professional Qualifications:

    HVAC Service Tech - FIeld Service Specialist

    PDS Tech is seeking Field Service Specialist for open positions in Topeka, KS.
    In your role you will:

    This position requires full-time work in the field, complying with all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) directives and procedures and guidelines. Position also requires participation in quality audits that are conducted by both our customer and Westar Energy client. Successful candidate will be required to efficiently and effectively operate independent of local office support (operations office located in Wichita, KS), all in coordination with program management, call center and after-hours answering service agents, and in liaison with other program field personnel. In support of program management, this position will perform field service functions, complete trainings; and, perform telephonic and on-site trouble-shooting, quality assurance, field-related customer service, and work assignment coordination. This field service specialist will have responsibility for day-to-day activities to include monitoring scheduled appointment data; travel for on-site services; provide for program tracking and reporting for productivity and quality; investigating peculiar customer concerns, ensuring that all problems are promptly and correctly rectified.

    * Adopts quality and productivity goals of program management and client. Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding safety, technical and productivity aspects of new opportunities consistent with product line objectives. Supports tracking and reporting of safety, quality, and productivity data
    * Plans and implements procedures and projects that support Demand Response installation function within Westar Energy service territory.
    * Recommends action, schedules, estimates, plans and manages field production to completion.
    * Remains current on technical training. May be called upon to investigate customer claims.
    * Provides service support to customers, and supports client/customer relations through researching, writing and managing input related to client/customer issues.
    * Supports development of new procedures/technology/applications and strategies.
    * Performs After-Hours Support (AHS) function on a rotational basis with other technicians or contractors.
    * Conducts program product testing, as needed.
    * Assists with inventory control for the program. Responsible for field inventory tracking and regular field reporting, including timely communication of inventory problems/needs as necessary.
    * Ensures correctly completed Work Order documentation, and reports near-real-time production data. On a rotational basis with other installers, performs Primary/Alternate After-Hours On-Call duties.
    * Adopts safety, quality and productivity goals of program management; communicates thoroughly with management regarding safety, technical aspects and productivity.
    * Completes continuous trainings, as necessary.
    * Manages truck inventory of product, tools, equipment and supplies.
    * Ensures all proper care, cleanliness and maintenance of company-assigned vehicle.
    * Coordinates delivery of program-related HVAC-type service.
    * Assists with managing product issues.
    * Ensures timely and correct completed Work Order documentation.
    * Coordinates customer key/access control, when applicable.
    * This position may be called upon to help ensure devices and field supplies/materials are available to a subcontractor, including managing any necessary pre-assembly of devices and field supplies.
    * Other duties as assigned.

     
    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

    High School Diploma plus technical training or 2 year college degree 

    1 - 3 years related experience 

    1 - 3 years HVAC service experience 

    SKILLS/CERTIFICATES/LICENSES REQUIRED:
    Computer literacy: Word, Excel, and ability to learn program specific software packages
    Understanding of HVAC systems, energy management.
    Valid Driver's License; clean driving record Proven outstanding
    Communications, management, customer, and client relations skills

    HS&E Business System Support 
    • Provide support for all HSE department operations, including financial support: 
    o SAP activities

    • Support management of prequalification database requests from customers, vendors, including UOP sales and sales support
