Trajectory Engineer

Location: Centennial, CO
Pay Rate: DOE
Duration: 1 year W2 contract
Shift: First, 9/80, exempt OT
**MUST be a U.S. CITIZEN; NO DUAL CITIZENSHIP**

Job Description:
-Responsible for design, development, and verification of trajectory simulations which merge launch vehicle constraints and capabilities with the spacecraft customer requirements and mission objectives.
-Provide detailed simulation capabilities of the entire launch vehicle and upper stage phases of flight to support internal and external customer needs and analyses.
-Combine information and constraints from numerous other technical functions into a cohesive mission design that meets performance, accuracy, environmental, structural, and operational requirements.
-Needs familiarity with trajectory optimization schemes, computer programming skills (Linux and Perl experience preferred), and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in trajectory work.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or higher
-Needs familiarity with trajectory optimization schemes
-Also needs computer programming skills (Linux and Perl experience preferred), a strong systems engineering mindset and a minimum of 3 years experience in trajectory/GN&C work.
