IR/EO Staff Systems Engineer - Digital System Modeling

Description:
*Capturing results in white papers and presenting results to customers (strong technical presence)
*Working with interdisciplinary team consisting of systems, software, firmware, and electrical
*Working with test engineering team with EO/IR sensor characterization
*Ability to create and execute to digital system modeling roadmap including hardware-in-the-loop and integration with embedded processing
*Excellent planning, management and communication skills
*Ability to provide technical direction and generate material for proposals
*Ability to contribute to corporate roadmaps including EO/IR and embedded processing technology
*Analysis of Customer Documentation to create System Level Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), Specifications, and Architectural Design
*Work independently and create technical direction for the overall organization

Qualifications:
*Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Software or Systems Engineering, or Computer Science
*10+ years functional experience required
*Must be able to obtain a security clearance
*Design and development of Matlab/Simulink modeling, including but not limited to:
-Detailed knowledge of Matlab/Simulink tools (advanced user with 10+ years’ experience)
-Detailed knowledge of IR/EO systems including generation/use of characterization data
-Detailed knowledge of integrating software/firmware source into Matlab/Simulink
-Detailed knowledge of integrating 3rd party tools into Matlab/Simulink
-Detailed knowledge of performance report generation using Matlab/Simulink
*Master's Degree preferred
*Knowledge of algorithms, image processing, software, and firmware is preferred
*Knowledge of model based design is preferred
