Loads Engineer (Aircraft Engines) - China

Description:
As part of major development programs this aircraft engine company are seeking an experienced Engine Loads Engineer The work will involve FEM and load analysis of turbofan engines as well as related test, verification and certification activities. Specific areas of knowledge include:

* Whole Engine Modelling (WEM) load and deformation calculations
* Fan Blade Off (FBO) loads analysis including with Load Reduction Devices (LRD)
* Seizure torque and surge loads analysis
* Parts stress analysis for the above loads conditions.

The position is based at the company’s modern development facility on the outskirts of Shanghai

The client is flexible on the hiring model and this role would be either an initial 6 month hourly-paid contract (with a view to further long-term contract extensions) or alternatively a fixed-term employment contract of 1-3 years, with allowances for accommodation, healthcare, transport etc.
