The Opportunity

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in the aerospace industry, to hire an experienced Reliability, Maintainability & System Health (RM&SH) Engineer in St. Charles, MO. In this high-impact role, you’ll help ensure mission-critical weapons systems meet rigorous reliability and safety requirements—supporting programs that directly shape the future of aerospace and defense.

This is a full-time, 12-month consultant role, offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work alongside elite engineers on complex, cutting-edge technology.


What You’ll Do

As an RM&SH Engineer, you will be a key contributor throughout the design, test, and sustainment lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing customer requirements and developing reliability engineering programs to meet or exceed objectives

  • Allocating system-level reliability requirements to design teams and performing reliability predictions

  • Evaluating system usage profiles and calculating cumulative reliability impacts at the system and component level

  • Conducting Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and developing mathematical models to assess risk

  • Building and using computer models to predict, maintain, and improve system reliability

  • Developing and maintaining a Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)

  • Participating in Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings with internal teams and government customers

  • Providing reliability guidance to designers and leadership throughout the development process

  • Presenting reliability findings and recommendations at major design reviews

  • Defining environmental test profiles, objectives, and success criteria

  • Supporting proposal development and reviewing subcontractor reliability programs

  • Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications and recommending design improvements

  • Supporting RM&SH efforts across multiple weapons programs, including SDB, JDAM, and missile systems


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a closely related field

  • Level 4 experience: typically 9+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience combination)

  • Experience with RM&SH principles, including requirements, predictions, and performance analysis

  • Experience with Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action Systems (FRACAS)

  • Experience performing failure analysis

  • Strong ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and organizational levels

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Preferred Qualifications

  • Systems Engineering experience implementing systems onto products

  • Experience with systems engineering requirements and verification

  • Ability to lead through influence without direct authority

  • 2+ years of hands-on RM&SH experience

  • 2+ years of experience in FMEA, reliability and maintainability predictions, or reliability testing

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field

  • Advanced education or experience equivalent (Master’s with 7+ years or PhD with 4+ years)

About the Role
As a Quality Inspector, you play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness and safety of aircraft and components. You will be responsible for inspections, documentation, and Return-to-Service approvals — directly impacting flight safety, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute Return-to-Service processes and approve aircraft in accordance with FAA and other regulatory guidelines.

  • Perform in-depth inspections on aircraft, engines, components, and precision tools for conformity, damage, and compliance.

  • Review and document work packages, arrival records, inspection results, and maintenance actions with precision and accuracy.

  • Inspect new, repaired, or rebuilt parts for defects, conformity, and count accuracy.

  • Validate and approve corrective actions for repairs and alterations conducted by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians.

Qualifications
Required:

  • A&P Certificate Required

  • 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience

  • 1+ year in corporate/commercial jet environments

  • Ability to read/interpret engineering documents and maintenance manuals

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Knowledge of return-to-service procedures and regulatory standards (FAA, CAA, FAR, etc.)

Preferred:

About the Role

As Senior Advisor, Ethics & Compliance – Export Control, you will lead and oversee export control and sanctions compliance activities across global aviation operations. Your work will directly protect the organization’s ability to operate internationally while maintaining the highest ethical and regulatory standards.

This role blends strategic oversight, hands-on execution, and cross-functional leadership, making it ideal for a seasoned compliance professional ready to influence at a global level.


What You’ll Do Day to Day

  • Manage compliance with U.S. export control regulations and sanctions, including EAR, ITAR, and OFAC, for worldwide aviation-related activities

  • Support and advise on Canadian and EU/UK export control regulations

  • Oversee export control compliance related to aircraft parts and services

  • Provide guidance and collaboration with export control designated officials across multiple global sites

  • Lead and support the development and implementation of export control policies, procedures, and governance frameworks

  • Review, prepare, submit, and manage export licenses and authorizations with U.S. government agencies (DDTC, BIS, OFAC)

  • Approve transactions involving license exemptions and exceptions

  • Ensure proper application, implementation, and recordkeeping for licenses, agreements, classifications, and registrations

  • Conduct internal audits to verify ongoing compliance

  • Perform and review denied party screenings

Required & Preferred Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in compliance or a related field within the aerospace and defense sector

  • Thorough understanding of aviation export controls and sanctions

  • Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and contract terms

Your Impact

What You’ll Do

CPSR Audit Preparedness

  • Conduct detailed gap analyses against DCMA CPSR checklists, FAR 44.3, and DFARS 244.3

  • Develop and maintain CPSR readiness documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit trails

  • Lead quarterly mock audits and self-assessments to ensure full compliance

  • Train procurement teams on CPSR best practices, including consent to subcontract and unauthorized commitment prevention

CPSR Audit Execution

  • Serve as primary liaison to DCMA Administrative Contracting Officers (ACOs)

  • Coordinate on-site/virtual audit walkthroughs, document submissions, and evidence gathering

  • Develop and track Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to closure within 90 days

  • Analyze audit results and implement process improvements

Global Supply Chain Compliance

  • Maintain and update a Global Compliance Matrix across 20+ countries

  • Conduct annual regulatory reviews and regional risk assessments

  • Support cross-border subcontract approvals and export control compliance

Ongoing Compliance Leadership

  • Monitor regulatory updates (CMMC 2.0, NIST SP 800-171)

  • Ensure CPSR-compliant subcontracting for programs exceeding $50M annually

  • Generate executive compliance reports

  • Support ISO 9001/AS9100 certifications


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in Aerospace & Defense supply chain

  • 5+ years in A&D supply chain compliance, including 3+ years leading CPSR audit preparedness and execution

  • Proven successful CPSR audit outcomes (e.g., “Approved” rating)

  • CPSR subject matter expertise

  • Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel for audit metrics and reporting)

Additional Functions: 

  • Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned by Supervisor.

In this role, you’ll be a critical link in the supply chain—helping ensure materials, parts, and finished products flow efficiently and compliantly to support aerospace manufacturing and repair operations.

This is a full-time consultant role (6 months) with steady first-shift hours and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a regulated, high-impact aerospace environment.


What You’ll Do

As part of the logistics team, you’ll support inventory control and warehouse/shipping activities with accuracy, safety, and urgency. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, handling, storing, recording, and distributing goods within the warehouse

  • Inspecting incoming goods for damage and verifying accuracy against invoices and documentation

  • Sorting, labeling, and storing materials to maintain organized and optimized warehouse space

  • Researching part numbers, vendors, and sourcing details using manuals, drawings, and online tools

  • Recording the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and updating inventory systems

  • Retrieving inventory data to respond to inquiries on stock levels and delivery schedules

  • Picking, packing, and dispatching outgoing materials per orders or requests

  • Assisting with HazMat documentation for domestic and international shipments

  • Working with freight carriers to obtain quotes and coordinate pickups

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2–3 years of experience related to logistics, inventory, or warehouse operations

  • Hazmat / Dangerous Goods training

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to use computers, including MS Office applications

Position Purpose:

Essential Functions: 

  • Work Communication & Assignment Understanding: 

    • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, and inspection personnel to receive, understand, and execute work assignments. 

    • Perform complex inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft with minimal supervision, ensuring all work adheres to internal and FAA requirements. 

  • Compliance & Documentation: 

    • Coordinate with MTL (Maintenance Team Lead), STM (Supervisor of Technical Maintenance), and the Inspection Department to ensure all maintenance tasks comply with FAA inspection and documentation requirements. 

    • Accurately complete CMP cards, work order sign-offs, and other paperwork in a timely and correct manner. 

    • Assist with shift turnovers to ensure continuity of work. 

  • Quality Assurance: 

    • Ensure all work performed on aircraft meets the required quality standards and specifications, both internally and in compliance with FAA regulations. 

  • Customer Property Handling: 

    • Properly identify, tag, and store customer property and equipment, ensuring that all aircraft components and other property are stored securely and safely. 

  • Ground Support Equipment Operations: 

    • Follow standard operating procedures when using ground support equipment such as external power carts, hydraulic mules, hydraulic lift platforms, tow tugs, forklifts, and compressed gas cylinders. 

  • Aircraft Movement: 

    • Coordinate and assist with aircraft movement in hangar and ramp areas, ensuring the safe and efficient relocation of aircraft. 

  • Training & Mentorship: 

    • Provide training and mentorship to less experienced technicians, assisting them in acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge for the role. 

  • Customer Property Protection:

What You Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.

  • 8+ years of experience in external loads analysis within the aerospace industry.

  • Expertise in static and dynamic aeroelastic analysis and FAR 25 certification standards.

  • Strong command of Matlab, Python, Fortran, C/C++, and Linux/Windows scripting.

  • Proven ability to develop FEM models, perform flutter and aeroservoelastic analyses, and interpret test results.

  • Hands-on experience using Nastran for dynamic/aeroelastic work (DMAP familiarity a plus).

Position Purpose:

Essential Functions:  

  • Work Communication & Assignment Understanding:  

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, and inspection personnel to receive, understand, and execute work assignments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of industry experience.

  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR compliance).

  • Expertise in Special Missions or Aftermarket modifications.

  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams.

  • Minimum 15,000 hours on CATIA V5 with proficiency in:

  • Assembly Design

  • Part Design (Boolean Operations)

  • Aerospace Sheetmetal

  • Tubing Design

  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office tools.


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Kinematics and Electrical Harness Routing in CATIA V5.

    • Siemens NX and Teamcenter PLM experience.

    • Background in aircraft manufacturing or modification programs.

    This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $80.00 to $95.00 per hour
