SUMMARY:
Specialist Sheet Metal Mechanic is responsible to maintain, modify and integrate components into major assemblies. You will be involved in activities like assembly, installation, and repairing of sheet metal, composite and products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain, modify and install the various components of aircraft sheet metal and composite
Rework, install and fabricate complex aircraft structural assemblies
Use of precision measuring devices. i.e.; micrometer, ball gauges, dial calipers, scales and all other calibrated devices.
Perform checks; carry out inspection and installation of components
Maintain documented records of work accomplished
Works from and to MES planning, engineering drawings, blueprints, manufacturing specifications and procedures.

They should be self-directed, organized, team oriented and have previous experience with MS Office tools. A DoD Secret level security clearance is required for this position.

Structural Welder (Pulse Arc)

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Structural Welder (Pulse Arc) for a contract opportunity in Newport News, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Four years of NNS or naval shipyard experience as a first class Welder. Required Skills: 1.Multi-pass. All position fillet and butt welds using the following processes: SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding) and GMAW-P (Pulse Arc Welding). 2. Heating - Oxygen/Propane Heating Torch. 3. Experience working in a physically demanding environment (shipboard, sub-assemblies, ladders, staging, etc.). 4. Familiarity with OSHA regulations relative to the shipbuilding industry. 5. Air Carbon Arc Gouging. 6. Ability to properly use fillet and butt weld gauges. Welding Qualification: All Welders will be required to pass all position, Multi-pass Butt Weld, Welder Qualification Tests prior to reporting for the first day of productive work. These tests will be in accordance with MIL-STD-248D Paragraph 5.3.3 and the following: A. All position (Horizontal (2G), Vertical (3G), and Overhead (4G)) SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) process. B. All position (Horizontal (2G), Vertical (3G), and Overhead (4G)) FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding) process. C. Horizontal (2G) position GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) process. D. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Program Coordinator supports two core programs � a training program (enterprise learning, events and localized training) and a hiring program (requisition-to-onboarding coordination). The role manages scheduling, enrollments, materials, communications and data tracking to ensure timely execution of trainings, simulations and organizational events; provides facilitator support for simulations and instructor-led courses; coordinates requisition management, resume screening, interview scheduling and new-hire start activities; and maintains learning platform content, reporting and completion tracking. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
� Develop and maintain schedules, budgets and logistics for trainings, simulations and events.
� Manage integrated calendars, schedule events and book conference rooms and other facilities.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs. Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis. Tools utilized may include CATIA, IDEAS, ProEngineer and a variety of software applications.
The Civil/Structural Engineer position provides technical oversight for various structural and mechanical systems on piers. The Structural Engineer will be required to develop a cohesive working relationship with system operators and maintenance personnel. The candidate should have knowledge of structural design and engineering.
