Description:
TriMech is hiring a design checker to support ongoing DoD programs and projects. The successful candidate will serve as a Design Checker who will handle all aspects of checking mechanical designs of 2D drawings and 3D models for vehicle system design specific duties may encompass checking pictures for compliance with industry standards, parts dimensioning and tolerances, materials specification, and finish specification of components.

Job Responsibilities:

Electrical Designer

Description:
Electrical Designer – Schematic Design

TriMech is currently supporting several defense contract efforts in the support of US Airforce in the Cincinnati, OH & Florence, KY markets. We are looking to hire electrical designers to support these efforts.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

Design and drafting of block interconnect and schematic diagrams for box level systems.
Modeling of 3-D harness assemblies for drawings and depiction of routing in vehicle systems
Drafting of wire, cable, and harness assembly drawings for use in prototype and production fabrication.
Use of parametric capabilities to transfer schematic info to harness and use to create conductor details and parts lists.
Organize products in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and maintain version control.
Coordinate with engineers and mechanical design teams to produce electro-mechanical parts.
Assist in preparation and tracking of purchase requests for materials necessary to realize designs.
Collaboration and follow-up with fabrication and installation teams to maintain design intent.
Possible travel <5% for survey and system development. Other duties as required. . Requirements: 8+ years’ experience with computer aided design (CAD) software, preferably NX CAD, Creo Parametric, Schematics and Cabling. Acceptable alternatives include Pro/E Wildfire, Solid works, NX, and equivalents. Experience with PLM software, preferably Windchill. Description:
The Technical Writer will be responsible for logistics support activities, tasks and assignments. Writes, rewrites and/or edits technical documents such as technical procedure manuals, user manuals, programming manuals, service manuals, operational specifications, and related technical publications to communicate clearly and effectively technical specifications and instructions to a wide range of audiences.

Primary Responsibilities

Research technical specifications, related program documents, engineering drawings, 3-D animations/job aids, an maintenance videos
Responsible for coordinating photo shoots, and coordinating with on-staff illustrator to develop original illustrations for manuals
Focus on end user needs to safely perform his/her job while protections the equipment from potential damage and ensuring equipment operation requirements
Available for limited travel to support IPS functions
Technical Writer will adhere to quality and safety standards

Required Experience & Skills
3-5 years of experience as a technical writer with integrated logistics background
Background in or understanding of hardware maintenance and all phases of logistics
Understanding of configuration management processes
2-3 years of experience using XML, and Arbortext
Demonstrated skills in ability to interpret engineering drawings to determine part data and parent-child relationships
Experience working with SolidWorks or other CAD software are a plus

Description:
An Electrical Engineering(EE) job in Florence KY is available through TriMech Services. The electrical engineer will be working under the direction of the Systems Engineer/Principal Engineer in the development of electrical systems for mobile transporters.

Summary of Job Description:

The electrical engineer will layout the power and control components required for the transport systems. The electrical engineer will design the control panel and select all components (high voltage/low voltage) to meet the power and controls requirements.

Job Requirements:

Design wire harnesses and support cable routing requiremts
Experience working with electrical systems in automotive environment
Collaborate with other engineers to leverage existing products where possible to expedite the design process as well as minimize costs
Will work with designers on the program to design the control panel and all corresponding electrical subassemblies. As well as routing the cables
Provide technical knowledge to design team to help develop the Bill of Materials for all components associated with the electrical system
Skillset Requirements:
