IMMEDIATE NEED - Electrical Engineer

Description:
Client would like to verify candidates have E3 development experience and experience developing EMI/EMC requirements, requirement flow down to subsystems, E3 control plans, design for E3 requirements, and hardware allocation planning.


THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE CONTRACTOR TO HAVE EITHER A BS OR MS IN ELECTICAL ENGINERING ONLY. DEGREES IN OTHER ENGINEERING FIELDS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

Seeking an E3 Engineer with Electromagnetic Compatibility and Interference (EMC/EMI) test experience to support multiple LOBs, including IAMD, AP/IAMD-AP, and TM:

• Design products to survive electromagnetic environmental effects,
• Develop requirements based on program requirements and physics rather than legacy program requirements,
• Ensure that designs meet system driven EMI/EMC requirements,
• Work in a multi-disciplined team of electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical engineers,
• Set up and conduct EMC tests in accordance with the MIL-STD-461 test standard.

• Required Experience/Skills:
o BSEE with a minimum of 8 years of E3 development experience
o MSEE with a minimum of 6 years of E3 development experience,
o Knowledge of MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464,
o Experience developing EMI/EMC requirements, requirement flow down to subsystems, E3 control plans, design for E3 requirements, and hardware allocation planning,
o Minimum 4 years of EMC testing experience.
o experience with typical lab test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, network analyzers, signal generators, power meters, RF directional couplers, Oscilloscopes, AC/DC power supplies, and RF amplifiers.
o Must be familiar with ESD handling and prevention protocols.


• Desired Experience/Skills:
o Knowledge of E3 effects on military vehicles, fire control systems, missile systems, and munitions, including grounding, bonding, and shielding methods, designs to minimize radiated emissions and susceptibility, HIRF, HERO, and lightning effects, electromagnetic field coupling, Maxwell's equations, image charge/current, and lumped element modeling,
o Perform quantitative E3 analysis,
o Knowledge of electrical safety and military EMC compliance standards, requirements, and test methods
o Experience performing testing according to RTCA-DO-160 Sections 18-22,
o Experience with vulnerability characterization,
o Work experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory,
o Able to assist with basic troubleshooting, basic interpretation, and analysis of test results,
o Proficiency in TILE!TM (ETS Lindgren EMC automation software) equipment scripts
o Preparation of test plans/procedures and reports

Structural Analysis-Stress/DADT/Dynamics/FEA/FEM

Description:
Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, etc.). Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgement on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained. Take part in drawing up the measurement plan applicable to the tests, and analyze the results. Required experience with structural mechanics simulation software including NASTRAN, PATRAN. Must be familiar with using UNIX computer systems. Familiarity and experience with other related tools such as CATIA V5 or Siemens NX desired. Must have knowledge and experience applying skills, tools, and judgment to the field of aircraft primary structure design. Experience analyzing aircraft subsystems and subsystem installations highly desired. Candidate must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings.

Seeking a Mid-Level Weight and Mass Properties Engineer to join the Flight Systems Capability team in Oklahoma City, OK, with the opportunity to provide engineering and technical decisions for Boeing Military Aircraft (B-2, B-52), Military Derivative Aircraft (AEW&C (737), AWACS (707, 767), ETS&S(C-32/C-40, E-4B, VC-25A, VC-25B), Tankers (KC-135, KC-767)) and other diverse aircraft and projects!

The Mass Properties team is looking for an individual with experience in aircraft weight and balance analysis. In addition, this position will require the ability to comprehend contract statement of work requirements, define task execution details, estimate task durations, and schedule and monitor team task execution.

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Position Responsibilities:

Develop complex weight, balance and mass properties data

Determine approaches to developing data and analyses and comparing results

Participate in developing program and customer specification requirements

Estimate, calculate and measure and verify mass, weight, stiffness and inertias of components, assemblies and completed vehicles or systems

Develop and maintain weight, balance and mass properties accounting systems and generate weight and balance reports

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite (at least two days per week) at the listed location. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

3+ years of experience in weights and mass properties engineering

Simulation Design Engineer

Description:
Team is seeking an experienced Fighter Pilot or Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) to support requirements development, integration, and testing for aircrew training devices/simulators across several platforms to include F-15, F/A-18, EA-18G, MQ-25, T-7, and T-45 in Berkeley, MO and/or Hazelwood, MO. In order to be considered for this position, a candidate Subject Matter Expert (SME) must have experience as a Pilot or WSO in high-performance 4th and/or 5th Gen combat jet aircraft.

Position Responsibilities:
· The successful candidate will work independently and will assist other members of the team in the performance of day-to-day operations in a fast-paced development environment.
· Team members create requirements and verification test procedures and execute testing to ensure the training devices correctly simulate the respective fighter/training aircraft, weapon systems, and the operational environment.
· Off shift and weekend work may be occasionally required to meet contractual milestones, objectives, and delivery schedules.
· Occasional domestic or international travel will be required.
· This is a mid-level to senior grade position.
· While waiting for security clearance, SME candidates will work with the Systems Engineering teams to familiarize with the training devices and processes, and in addition, they will instruct other engineers on how to decipher technical orders and aircrew academics.


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
· Experience flying in 4th and/or 5th Generation fighter jet aircraft within the last 6 years.
· Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
· Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and occasional weekends as necessary.
· Technical STEM bachelor’s degree or higher.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
· Active U.S. Secret Clearance or higher.
· Experience in an aircraft test environment.

Typical Education/ Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
