Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Formulation Technician 1 contract opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA.

SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the production of various columns and related consumables and works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Under general supervision, reads bills of material, discrete jobs and production procedures then performs assembly, packing, equilibration; testing using various ion chromatography equipment, and embalming of columns and related consumables. This colleague follows written and verbal instructions using common laboratory equipment when performing the following duties.

SUMMARY:
The Airplane Safety Engineering (ASE) team is looking for Airplane Safety Engineers - Development Programs (Onsite) to join our team in Everett, Washington. The ASE team is a division of the Enterprise Safety and Mission Assurance Organization. Our team is actively engaged with airplane programs that currently include 737-10 MAX, 777-9, 777-8 Freighter, and future product development programs.

As an Airplane Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for working cross functionally to ensure airplane level safety analysis are appropriately conducted. Understanding the complex integration of airplane systems, human factors, and airplane integration into the operational environment is required in this role. The Airplane Safety deliverables directly feed airplane compliance and require an extreme attention to detail as well as a healthy engineering curiosity.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Ability to apply technical knowledge to solve problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.

REQUIREMENTS:
o Able to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, and squat.
o Able to occasionally push, and reach.
o Able to lift 50 pounds close to the body repetitively. (Employees need to ask for assistance and use material handling tools for lesser weight in awkward location and/or body positions and for any items over 50 pounds).
o Must have good repetitive manual dexterity with both hands.
o Must have sufficient vision to see relative positions of small parts and able to discern symmetry and proper alignment.
o Based upon your job duties, and need to visit different areas within Randtron, you may be exposed to; fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals (well below OSHA and ACGIH exposure guidelines), outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and/or be part of a hearing conservation program due to noise levels around certain equipment.
o Must be able to pass a respirator medical physical. May not have facial hair and be clean shaven per California and Federal OSHA requirements to ensure a proper fit of respiratory protection.
o Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary.
o Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

HARD REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 8 years of related plastic fabrication experience. Also requires math aptitude, the ability to read operation sheets and complex blueprints, formulas and scales, and use a variety of cutting tools. Ability to mix and apply mil-spec paints as required by job.

EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
